Exploring smart cities, and the technology that makes them possible, is for engineer turned business owner turned podcaster Zoe Eather.

Zoe, who lives and works in Toowoomba, won the prestigious Rising Star in Technology award in the 2020 WiT Awards. It  was the second consecutive year her accomplishments had been celebrated at the Awards, and  she was recognised as a finalist in both the Rising Star in Technology and Community categories.

Zoe is a catalyst for change, undaunted in her mission to harness technology to enhance liveability and sustainability. She is committed to providing real solutions to prevalent community needs, which requires forward-thinking, effective use of resources, and education.

She shares her learnings through her ‘The Smart Community’ podcast and boutique consultancy, My Smart Community, which offers advisory services such as smart mobility, smart technology for regional communities, project management, and collaboration facilitation.
