The Business Enablement team bring this to life by:

Promoting the digital transformation agenda by exploiting the capabilities of the Office 365 product suite. By providing practical and proactive advice for end-users, the BET will investigate, implement and promote incremental toolsets and advice for the Griffith user community so they are empowered to gain as much as possible from the productivity suite.

Providing support for projects where there is an Information Management or O365 component. These information-focussed transformative projects will predominantly focus on content management, assessment and migration.

Continuing to manage and develop information governance resources, e.g.: Information Asset Register, Information Security Classification Framework.

The Opportunity
This position is a senior position within Digital Solutions that works within the context of the University’s Information Management Framework, and under the broad direction of the Manager, Productivity & Information Management to:

Lead the Business Enablement Team to deliver a Program of information management jobs that uplift the University’s management of information and exploit available information management tools. This includes: identifying new opportunities to value-add to and/or transform existing business processes; liaison and negotiation with clients and other stakeholders; oversight of projects using an agile project techniques; identifying opportunities for the development of repeatable business solutions and promotion of same to the University community; and oversight of self-help resources to develop the skills of University staff in the area of information management.

Assist the Manager, Productivity & Information Management in the strategic activities associated with delivering advice to the University community, particularly with regard to the management of the Information Asset Register, Information Security Classification and related strategic activities.

This is a continuing position, full time based at the Nathan campus.

About you
To excel in this role, you will need:

A relevant postgraduate degree with subsequent related work and management experience -or- have extensive relevant work and management experience along with specialist expertise in information management and Office 365, or an equivalent combination.

An in-depth understanding of modern information management approaches, particularly as it relates to digital content management.

Have excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate and work well with a range of people.

Proven experience in leading, managing and supporting a high performing team of information management and technical professionals in the successful delivery of a program of work.

To excel at prioritising your busy work schedule.

Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to implement innovative and integrated solutions, with a focus on minimal viable product.

Salary range
HEW Level 9: $110,553 - $114,506 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $129,347 - $133,972 per annum.
