We are hiring a Software Engineer to apply their strong technical knowledge and ability to our global brand. You will deliver a hands-on approach to the creation of new products and enhance existing products from conception to launch as part of a cross-functional team.

Our Software Engineers achieve significant professional exposure across design, development, testing, troubleshooting, sustaining and documentation of software changes for new products, enhancements and defects. We’re looking for someone who…

  • Is innovative, keen to travel and work abroad, and enjoys challenging the norms of software development
  • Has at least 3-5 years' experience in a commercial environment
  • Is willing to travel and stay in Canada for up to 3 months per trip
  • University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Experience managing and organising your work and effectively communicating to fellow team members
  • A passion to drive your own career, taking strong ownership of the initiatives you manage

Technical must haves...

Knowledge and experience with

  • C#/.NET, WPF/XAML and WCF
  • REST/API’s
  • Client server applications and service-oriented architectures (SOA)
  • Database development (SQLite, SQL etc.)
  • Computer Science fundamentals – data structures, algorithms, operating system concepts.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Big Data & Cloud / On-premise solutions, desirable.
  • OpenGL (or any other 3D graphics API), and knowledge of mathematical techniques involved with 3D visualization, desirable
  • Geometry / mesh processing using VTK, desirable
