As a Senior CDE Systems Specialist you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know.

Here’s how:

  • You’ll provide technical leadership throughout the concept, definition, execution and transition phases of solution design, development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of the Common Data Environment (CDE) systems and associated processes to improve business efficiency and productivity.
  • You’ll provide technical leadership to the Major Projects team and key stakeholders to develop, configure, test, pilot and deliver new CDE systems, ongoing system improvements and associated deliverables.
  • You’ll ensure the integrity of CDE systems are maintained throughout the state and provide assistance to key stakeholders in the operation and use of Powerlink’s data applications.
  • You’ll lead continuous monitoring, reporting and ongoing improvement activities ensuring the CDE systems deliver business efficiency and productivity.

The community you will join

Based in our Bowen Hills offices and reporting to the Project Systems Manager, your role will see you providing technical leadership of the InEight and Hexagon SDX systems, to ensure the integrity of the solutions for our Major Projects Office team. This is a newly formed group that exists to manage a complex portfolio of major projects.

Your expertise

  • Degree level qualifications in Data or Information Management, drawing management, CAD or equivalent discipline, coupled with significant experience in an Information or Drawing Management role; or a lower-level qualification coupled with extensive relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in advising, guiding and training stakeholders in the use of a CDE or Drawing Management systems – InEight and Hexagon SDX
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in CDE or drawing management activities required to meet project or organisational requirements.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in drawing management, administration, setup and configuration of a drawing management system providing services to internal and external customers, such as project manager and designers.
