- Remuneration: $91,258 to $123,829 pa. Which is inclusive of an annual salary range of $77,114 to $104,637 pa, 17% superannuation and leave loading.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Research Fellow in Quantum Mobility to join School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
This position provides a unique opportunity to lead research projects in the applications of quantum technology in transport and mobility at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). We are seeking a Research Fellow with expertise in quantum computing, optimization, data analytics and simulation to conduct pioneering research in the applications of quantum technology in transport modelling and simulation. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in quantum computing.

What you need to succeed
1. Completion of a Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Operations Research, Data Science, or a closely related field.
2. Demonstrated experience and expertise in one or more relevant research areas, such as quantum computing, optimization, or simulation.
3. Advanced programming skills, including expertise in quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent).
4. Experience in applying optimization techniques to real-world problems, particularly in areas such as routing, scheduling, and network flow in transportation, is highly desirable.
5. A strong track record of publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, highlighting research productivity and quality.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and organize workloads efficiently.
