Genevieve is a passionate and pragmatic ICT leader and communicator with over twenty years’ experience. Genevieve quickly builds trust through strong relationship building skills with an emphasis on integrity and accountability. She has a proven track record in medium and large-scale program and project management with demonstratable success in complex business and ICT transformational change initiatives including; digitization, systems implementation and integration, infrastructure, cyber security and compliance.

Experience in e-commerce, cloud and digital environments across a wide range of industries including Utilities Sector, Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Software Development, Adult Education (Corporate and Not for Profit). Genevieve is currently Cyber Security Program Manager for Energy Queensland focused on addressing risk in relation to Nationally critical infrastructure.

A strong believer that organisational culture and the user experience are the keys to success, Genevieve is enthusiastic about leading, inspiring and empowering teams to collaborate, embrace new mindsets and ignite the passion in people to deliver extraordinary results.

An experienced Client Relationship Manager with 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry, Jeanette has an in-depth understanding of the telecommunications and ICT needs of enterprise customers. Her role is to co-create optimum ICT solutions that meet specific client needs. She has a strong track record of driving growth in sales and revenue.

Jeanette is passionate about mentoring the next generation of women in technology and find mentoring an incredibly rewarding experience.

Jeanette completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with the Open University Business School, United Kingdom.  Her dissertation focused on ICT outsourcing and profitability.

 

Jo Killalea-Walford

Jo Killalea-Walford

Jo is an IT professional with over 25 years’ experience in outsourcing, IT, military, banking and government sectors across operations management, client and stakeholder engagement, service delivery, quality assurance, continuous improvement and resource management.

Equipped with superior leadership and organisational skills, strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities and recognised for achieving optimum service quality and efficiency in an extensive range of roles, Jo is a natural and proactive leader skilled in building dynamic teams and coordinating operations looking to leverage experience and training to ensure an organisation’s interminable success.

Jo has worked in the IT industry around the world, initially starting her career as a technical engineer within the New Zealand government, with roles in Geneva, Switzerland and several UN organisations where she transitioned to customer focused and management before returning to New Zealand to further her career.

Jo is now a Queenslander, passionate about equity in the workforce and mentoring, and happy to espouse the benefits of a career in technology.

Elena is an accomplished technology transformation leader with a strong background in ICT management and consulting. She has more than 15 years’ experience in leveraging technology to drive business value through large-scale ICT initiatives that reduce costs, improve customer experience and streamline operations. With a career spanning a diverse range of industries including technology consulting/strategy, mining, government and consumer goods she is a pragmatic, results-focused leader who is comfortable operating in multi-national corporation as well as in smaller organisations. Elena currently leads a global Information Systems team with a key focus on systems integration, business process reengineering and the more strategic topics of IT architecture transformation and security compliance.

Elena enjoys mentoring and developing people empowering them to achieve their personal best and she is committed to making a difference for the coming generations of female tech leaders.

Louise Howard

Louise Howard

Louise is an information and technology professional with over 20 years experience in information management and technology governance in the public sector, including local and state government and higher education.

As Director IT Infrastructure and Cloud at Griffith University, Louise has responsibility for a large technical team providing robust infrastructure services to staff, students and researchers. Her current focus is on continuing to evolve Griffith’s IT services and practices to ensure agility and flexibility in service design and delivery.

Louise actively supports and develops women in her own workplace through formal and informal mentoring and coaching. She is passionate about supporting women in technology and life sciences to achieve their career goals and to increasing the representation of women in leadership roles in the industry.

Aaron is the founder of Digital Native. A 12+ year recruitment executive who has built, trained and developed some of the largest Technology and Digital recruitment teams in Queensland. Aaron has recruited across most disciplines across Technology but has a high affinity for technologies that help deliver digital services and solutions.

Aaron is a passionate technologist who is actively involved in the Brisbane Tech\Digital Community and has and continues to offer pro-bono advisory to early-stage startups in areas such as strategy and growth.
