What’ll you do
- Work independently in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment
- Work on a large implementation program end-to-end
- Lead teams of up to 20 team members including Project Managers and Organisational Change Managers to implement new programs
- Collaborate with vendors, cross-functional teams and stakeholders to get projects over the line
- Understand technical information and communicate to all stakeholder levels
- Create ideas for new and innovative approaches to complex challenges
- Work across a range of client engagements and types of projects
- Status Reporting to Senior Executive
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
- Prepare and manage a budget based on project/s scope and budgetary allocation
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Define and manage any changes to the project scope, objectives, outcomes, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Manage program and individual project risks
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
What you’ve got
- Proven working experience as a Senior Program/Project Manager, managing high stake programs and large scale ICT implantation projects
- Proven experience in managing large teams to implement new programs and projects
- Leadership capability emulated through mentoring, coaching and supervision
- Experience in producing business requirements in complex environments
- Strong written and verbal communications skills including large group facilitation and presentations
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and technical acumen
- Experience with project management software tools
- Excellent technical writing ability and fully proficient in MS-Office suite
- Full understanding of the software development and project lifecycles
- Ability to understand, conceptualise and verbalise solutions
- Practical experience within Agile environments
- Excellent adaptability to different organisations and ways of working

Qualifications/Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with public sector organisations, particularly health and public safety would be highly desirable.
Work Eligibility
- Must be based in Sydney and be prepared to travel to client site
- Must be Australian citizen (Required)
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances e.g. NV1 security clearance
