We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Systems Analyst to join Finance - Information Technology team in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, or Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Asset Management Systems Team Lead you will be responsible for performing full Application Lifecycle Management of Maximo and other related Asset and Works Management systems, including Design, Development, System Administration, Monitoring, Maintenance and Technical Support.

The role provides guidance and sets standards for the application support team to achieve optimal outcomes. As a technical expert they will solve complex technical challenges and provide advanced solutions.

The role requires extensive collaboration with the Business, IT, and vendor stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and Support Systems: Provide daily monitoring and support for Maximo and other Asset Management applications within the portfolio.
  • Troubleshoot and Collaborate: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and bugs, collaborating with team members, IT teams, vendors, operational stakeholders, and users.
  • System Maintenance and Administration: Plan, perform, and coordinate system maintenance and administration activities, including performance tuning, upgrades, patches, and infrastructure changes.
  • Technical Solutions and Standards: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop them into technical solutions within Maximo and other applications, and ensure alignment with best practices, standards, and system architecture.
  • Technical Expertise and Leadership: Provide advanced technical expertise, input into IT projects, and oversight of development activities, ensuring adherence to standards, strategy, and successful project delivery, while also assisting in staff supervision and training.

Your background

  • Maximo Expertise and Configuration: Deep knowledge of Maximo, including its modules, configurations, functionalities, and extensive experience in designing and configuring Maximo applications, workflows, data structures, and integration points.
  • Programming and Data Management: Advanced skills in a relevant programming language, SQL, database configuration, data management and analysis
  • System Maintenance and Integration: Experience in system installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, data integration techniques, and API integrations, along with understanding testing methodologies and tools.
  • Technical Leadership: Experience setting and maintaining technical standards, providing guidance and feedback, working within project delivery teams.
  • Business Requirements and Process Improvement: Skills in eliciting, analysing, and documenting business requirements, effective communication, analytical problem-solving, and proactive identification of process improvement opportunities, while understanding EAM principles and risk management.
