15 August 2013 - ICT Breakfast with Linda Price

Women in Technology were pleased to have you at our ICT City Series Breakfast event with Linda Price, Group Vice President of Service Delivery with Gartner Executive Programs Asia/Pacific.

Linda is a senior IT executive with 20 years' experience in media, manufacturing, distribution and service organizations.  She came to the corporate arena from a tertiary teaching background.  Before joining Gartner, she was a key member of the executive management team of an iconic Australian ASX100 organization, working directly with board members.  She was responsible for IT strategy development and organizational development in a rapidly transforming media environment.  Ms Price led several successful IT and organizational change programs aligning people, process and technology to deliver strategic outcomes.  She has a track record of managing and motivating large teams, engendering an ethic of energy and drive. Earlier in her career, she was a program director with Gartner Executive Programs in Australia.

Linda will shared her experiences working across different countries, states and organisations together with some of the challenges within a rapidly changing business environment.


13 February 2013 - Mentoring Networking Information Evening

Sonya Trau is a senior business coach and facilitator in the AltusQ Brisbane based team. Since joining AltusQ (formerly Shirlaws Aust) in 2008, she has delivered over 3,500 hours in leadership team coaching and facilitation.  Sonya is responsible for delivery of the National Recruitment Industry Mentoring Program for the RCSA in Qld (Recruitment consulting and services association), is approved under the Federal Government (Enterprise Connect) Enterprise Learning Mentor and is responsible for design and delivery of the AltusQ Business Leadership Development Programme for DEEDIā€™s ATS (Australian Technology Showcase) programme in Queensland.     

Anne-Marie Birkill is a Partner in OneVentures, a $40 million venture capital Fund backing innovative companies with global relevance in CleanTech, IT&T and Life Sciences. She is a Director for portfolio companies TheBestDay, Paloma Mobile and Peak3.  She forged a career in technology commercialisation and has worked with hundreds of early-stage technology companies as senior executive, mentor and business coach.
