  • Remuneration: $116,370 to $127,294 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $98,334 to $107,565 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
  • Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Solutions Developer (Web) to join Digital Business Solution, Administrative Division.

The Solutions Developer (Web) contributes to supporting the creation of new and/or improvement of existing applications, interfaces, and content that will support a collaborative, connected and engaging web experience. The role will demonstrate competence in developing on various web platforms and be able to develop using user-centred design approaches, with a focus on quality to ensure compliance with appropriate quality frameworks and industry standards.

What you need to succeed

 

  1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree with at least four (4) years subsequent experience, in user experience design within an information technology area.
  2. Demonstrated experience in contributing as a technical expert as part of a team and implementing improvement strategies that support effective responses to client needs and achievement of organisational goals.
  3. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience in identifying and conceptualising client requirements, designing and developing solutions, and deploying and implementing solutions using a variety of contemporary web technologies.
  4. Demonstrated ability to maintain productive and collaborative working relationship, including the ability to develop and present concepts and negotiate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  5. Proven planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing own and workflow priorities, and working across a diverse number of initiatives within tight and competing timelines.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, maintaining and supporting corporate web applications, following agreed standards, with a focus on improving user experience.
