We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technology Partner to join our Technology team in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting directly to the Strategy and Partnering Manager, you will strategically partner with APA's Technology and Business units to ensure alignment and cohesion between the Business Strategy, Technology Strategy, and Enterprise and Solution Architecture. Your efforts will drive efficiency, maturity, standardisation, and value creation for APA. By supporting the development and execution of technology plans and capabilities, this role aims to boost revenue, optimise costs, enhance user experiences, and mitigate risks. Building strong relationships with peers and business leaders will be crucial to understanding objectives, constraints, and opportunities, ultimately contributing to APA's strategic growth and success in the evolving energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and solve key business problems using technology through structured analysis, collaborative engagement, and iteration.
- Develop and manage strategic plans within your portfolio that align with APA's vision, including key metrics, delivery costs, and organizational change impacts.
- Bring technology insights and trends into customer discussions, emphasising the role of technology in achieving strategic business outcomes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and incorporate technology into business planning.
- Build strategic technology roadmaps for the business unit to achieve desired business outcomes.
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering executive reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
- High level understanding of energy trends, technology, and enterprise architecture and their implications for business strategy.
- Maintain risk responsibilities as outlined in the Master Risk Management Framework.
