We have an incredibly rare opportunity for a highly motivated Sales Representative to join the Telecommunications team within the City of Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Executive Coordinator Telecommunications you will be tasked with Account Management, Business Development and Channel Management tasks related to the City of Gold Coast telecommunications network.

In this role, you will be a vital part of our Telecommunications sales team. You will be primarily responsible for performing direct sales activities to external Telecommunications companies. This will include researching prospective customers, creating outreach strategies,  identifying sales opportunities and nurturing client relationships.

About you 

Most importantly, you will have a great ability to build rapport and long-term relationships quickly with external stakeholders and decision-makers. You are able to communicate effectively, build credibility and articulate the Telecommunications portfolio value proposition with senior leaders to achieve performance goals and targets.

You will have previous successful sales experience in complex solution selling, and experience in implementing channel sales strategies. Experience in an IT/telecommunications sales environment would be beneficial but not essential, as you will be provided with comprehensive training on our suite of products and services, and will be supported by technical specialists allowing you to hit the ground running.

Working as part of a team, you will be able to contribute to shared sales goals, while also being self-motivated to manage your individual targets.
