You will play a pivotal role in accelerating business growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships and setting up our delivery teams for success.

Reporting directly into the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be working as part of a diverse team of talented professionals and subject matter experts and be partnering with some of the most pioneering software firms in the country. Selling technical skills, software and transformation solutions both nationally and internationally within sectors and organisations that are aligned with our mission to improve society.

What’ll you do

  • Strategic planning – develop and execute short and long-term sales strategies to achieve company objectives
  • Market research - gather and analyse data to understand customer needs. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation - identify and attract potential customers through various channels such as networking, advertising and warm outreach.
  • Client relationships management - build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their unique business needs and challenges. Act as a trusted advisor to bdna clients, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Sales presentations and proposals - craft compelling tender responses, presentations, and proposals to showcase products or services, to effectively communicate the value proposition of our services and products and address client needs
  • Negotiation and closing - skilful negotiating fees, contracts, terms and conditions to secure deals and agreements with clients
  • Cross functional collaboration - work closely with internal teams and lines of business to align sales efforts, tailoring solutions that exceed client requirements and expectations
  • Sales reporting and analytics - track and analyse sales data, prepare accurate and regular sales forecasts, reports and analysis to inform decision making and strategy development
  • Customer feedback - collect and analyse feedback from customers to improve products, services and overall customer experience
  • Customer retention - implement strategies and initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, maximising lifetime value
  • Risk management - identify potential risks to sales operations and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and stability
  • There will be revenue generating KPI’s aligned with this role.


What you’ve got

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the IT consulting or technology services industry.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen and understanding of market trends and dynamics, with adept customer diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
  • Leadership qualities with experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with public and private sector procurement processes
  • Diligence use of CRM activity and data recording

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, ICT or related field or equivalent commercial experience
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with Public sector organisations, particularly health and public safety would be highly desirable
