To support this generational transformation, Business IT is delivering a portfolio of platforms and solutions including digital engineering, cyber security, spatial analytics, artificial intelligence, field mobility, stakeholder engagement and digital infrastructure.

As a Project Assurance Analyst, you'll help clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. You will play a hands-on role in maturing portfolio management and project financial management competencies and practices.
Here's how:
- You'll maintain oversight and ensure data quality in all aspects of the portfolio financial management and financial operations.
- You'll develop and implement portfolio financial systems and reporting including project operational and financial performance reports.
- You'll implement continuous improvements for portfolio management and project financial management system (processes, tools and documentation).
- You'll develop and implement portfolio measurement metrics and KPIs to ensure project spend is aligned to preapproved commitments.
- You'll maintain and mature project costing model and guidelines for projects and ongoing operational costs including the classification guidelines (Capex / Opex).
- You'll provide the PPM Manager and Program Portfolio Director with insights on the progress of the financial performance of the portfolio.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Project Management, IT, or significant relevant experience.
- Highly developed project assurance skills.
- Expertise in financial management to support the successful delivery of programs and projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and reports to effectively monitor project and program financial and delivery performance.
- Ability to work autonomously, seeking guidance as required.
We'd also love you to have:
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Certification in relevant areas will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to IT project environments in the Australian utilities sector.
