As an IT Test Analyst, you’ll be a key player in driving the end-to-end project testing success across a wide-ranging portfolio, including system testing for SAP, Microsoft Platform, cloud infrastructure and bespoke products.

Supporting the IT Portfolio Test Specialist, you will be at the heart of project-led test management activities, IT technical change management, and release management, all crucial to Powerlink’s IT systems, applications, infrastructure, services and processes. Ensuring testing is executed efficiently, with a strong focus on business readiness.

 

  • Collaborate with senior team members and stakeholders to validate solution functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Conduct analysis and troubleshoot defects, providing detailed reports to contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
  • Ensure testing requirements are understood, prepared for, and actioned in alignment with the transition plan
  • Play a leading role in the test execution and business deployment of initiatives, supporting the transition into business-as-usual activity.
  • Support Program leadership with technical change management and operational documents as required.

Based in Brisbane, you will be joining the Business IT & Digital Delivery group as part of the extensive IT Portfolio of Programs and Projects. This team thrives on a culture of high performance, where each member’s dedication to excellence is complemented by a strong emphasis on collaboration, ultimately fostering a dynamic and achievement-oriented environment.

Your expertise:

  • Degree level qualification in Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or significant relevant experience in IT project management or IT service delivery.

Are you a seasoned professional in test management with a knack for coordinating user acceptance testing and educating stakeholders on best practices? We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who can effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in test methodologies, tools, processes, and practices to ensure the highest quality outcomes. Your ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with various teams will be key to your success.

We’d also love you to have:

  • Test Management Certification such as software testing certification is desirable.
