Governed by a Board of commercially savvy volunteers, representing local business, health care, education and the community, this Foundation has matured in recent years to become an esteemed charity of choice for many in the communities it serves.
A values driven enterprise - that has been steadily building reputation as a sophisticated and substantial fundraising and philanthropic model - it funds vital research, equipment acquisition and the provision of emergency accommodation for the patients of its hospital.
Now, with so much good work consolidated and fluid strategies set by a supportive and informed Board, the team needs the direction of a new, hands-on, long-term leader with an exceptional spread of skills and charismatic leadership capability.
This is an important, high-cachet role for an influential, market-proven CEO who can build and nurture the partnerships and support systems the Foundation needs to take its brand to the next level. It’s time to develop even better relationships with the Hospital; to open doors, tell the stories and get this admirable charity top-of-mind with the community and key champions of Gold Coast business.
To take up the challenge to drive this visionary plan in a high performance culture, you’ll need strong, sustained experience in mission delivery, organisational growth, broad scale engagement, finance, audit, risk and governance along with impeccable social skills and personal presentation.
Creative and sociable, articulate and confident, with the presence to act as an influential advocate for this organisation, you bring intuition, a sharp mind and an excellent depth of experience as a senior nonprofit executive.
With a fine appreciation of fundraising and philanthropy, the measure of today’s nonprofit and healthcare landscapes and an eye for commercial business, you have the originality and drive to turn all that to advantage.
Well connected and an avid networker, you are a proven ‘doer’ with the sensitivities and attributes essential to maintaining a high level of respectful engagement across the business – including with Hospital and Health Services personnel.
To be considered for this very special role, you will need:
- Significant experience in a senior nonprofit leadership position, where you have built teams and led them to achieve bold strategic objectives.
- A proven record of successfully engaging with many diverse stakeholders in the course of leading projects, managing contracts and performing all the other duties of an energetic, fully committed hands-on leader.
- Above all, a fine, unblemished reputation for resilience, integrity, compassion, excellence and a community-first mindset.
